Overseas outreach is an important priority in our sense of mission. Some of our brethren have visited Uganda and India multiple times for teaching and encouragement. During the past thirty years we have had the privilege of conducting strategic leaders seminars in multiple locations, training over 12,000 leaders.
We generally distribute about ten percent of our church income to support needy brethren overseas as well as several local ministries. One of our primary emphases in giving is to assist orphans and widows. “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” (James 1:27)
Also, many of our youth as well as older members have served on short-term missions with various ministries. We also work with Advancing Native Missions, a strategic international ministry located near us which is dedicated to supporting thousands of native missionaries and thus helping fulfil the Great Commission.
We encourage all our members to have outward vision and to be open to calling God may have for their individual lives.
